DiMora Motorcar uses Aligned CAE aerodynamic analysis to refine design of $2 million sport luxury sedan
Wind tunnel computer simulation tweaks Natalia SLS 2 performance above 200 MPH
Clarkston, Michigan – May 13, 2009 – Aligned CAE LLC announced today that it will provide Aerodynamic Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations for the Natalia SLS 2 sport luxury sedan. It joins the growing list of Technology Partners engaged in developing this futuristic, $2 million production automobile from DiMora Motorcar.
"Our designers and engineers have been conducting airflow modeling and analysis of the Natalia from the start of this project," noted DiMora Motorcar founder Alfred DiMora. "We have sought to maximize the aerodynamic downforce for better traction of our extremely lightweight D-Tek chassis and body made from lava rock, while minimizing drag to increase speed, without compromising the esthetic appearance of the vehicle. Now it is time to optimize such details as the precise separation of the front and rear doors to minimize the wind noise our passengers will hear at 245 miles per hour.
